Education Everyday
A Sweeter Path to Early Learning Success
As taught by Mr. C. "The Teacher"
An octopus can be introduced as a fascinating sea animal with eight arms (or legs!). There are many different kinds of octopuses many looking very different from one another. Students should learn that octopuses are soft-bodied, which allows them to squeeze into small spaces. They are masters of camouflage, able to change color to blend into their surroundings, have blue blood, brains in each arm as well as their head making them very smart, can spray ink, can be very poisonous in some cases and have a beak like a bird for eating lobsters and crabs whole.
