Emergency Procedures

Students should learn specific actions for each emergency procedure: during a fire drill, they must exit the building calmly and follow their designated evacuation route to a safe assembly area;for an earthquake drill, they must "Drop, Cover, and Hold On" under sturdy furniture until the shaking stops, then evacuate to the assembly site; and for a lockdown drill, they should quickly move to a secure location, turn off the lights, and stay quiet and out of sight until the "all clear" is given. Practicing these procedures helps staff and students respond effectively and build confidence in a real emergency.

Danger contained outside such as wild animal on school grounds, strong wind storm, heavy snowfall cause tree branches and electrical wire to come down or active emergency services in the neighbourhood due to house fire, etc.
